Valley of the Moon Camp is an overnight camp for adults with disabilities located in Glen Ellen California.  Valley of the Moon is surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of the Sonoma Mountain Range.  Programs include swimming, hiking, music, art, and traditional campfire activities.  The program provides environmental education, physical exercise, and social opportunities.  The camp serves both ambulatory and non-ambulatory adults.

Sidekicks Cycle & Swim: Summer Bike/Swim Camp

United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay

Sidekicks Cycle is an instructional program that teaches children with disabilities how to ride conventional two-wheeled bicycles.  "Lose the Training Wheels" developed this unique program to teach children with disabilities how to ride without the use of training wheels.

Summer Bike/Swim Camp is a 5-day camp co-sponsored by UCPNB and Sonoma State University and is located at the SSU gymnasium and pool in Rohnert Park, California.  Full Camp includes biking, swimming and outdoor play activities.

Don't forget to check out the wealth of information on the rest of this Access Northern California website. Also, OUTREACH FLYERS about the calendar are available if you would like to distribute information to your community about accessible recreation. I'm a person with a disability who has a passion for recreation - I have many tips and stories I can share with you and your community. Just click on the "Belinda" link above to communicate with me. If you are interested in receiving the kinds of assistance listed below let me know. I can't promise I'll have the answers, but I'll give it a try.
